I now have Philips radio nuts to suit early Philips radios fitted in Holden:
  • Gemini
  • HJ Kingswood, GTS etc
  • LX Torana
Valant Chrysler:
  • Century
  • Galant
This is a 6 nut set that are usually very hard to find.
They are hand made in Australia from a combination of stainless steel and brass.
The larger nuts are stainless steel, while the 2 smaller nuts are brass.
These only fit Japanese made Philips radios, not Australian made Air Chief radios.
Mid way through production of the HJ, Holden switched from the Australian made Air Chief radio to the Japanese brand Philips.

These radio nuts are not interchangeable - The Air Chief has a larger imperial threaded nut on the outside, while the Philips has a smaller metric thread nut on the inside.

These nuts do not fit Australian made Air Chief radios. There are available here
